Little Dockens is a contemporary new dwelling in Linwood, situated deep within the New Forest National Park. This modern home replaces an existing structure that originally began life as a mobile home, transforming the site into a sustainable, landscape-sensitive residence.
Given the property’s planning history and its highly sensitive New Forest location, the project was approached with exceptional care and attention to context. Working closely with the New Forest National Park Authority, our design team ensured that the new home met the strict planning and environmental standards required within the protected area.
Our clients, passionate about the New Forest’s wildlife and ecology, wanted a design that reflected their environmental values. The resulting eco-conscious dwelling uses natural materials, low-impact construction methods, and energy-efficient technologies to minimise environmental impact while blending harmoniously with its woodland surroundings.
