The original cottage on this

site had reached the end of its useful life and our clients requested a unique replacement to sell on the

open market.

Our design subdivides the dwelling into two basic components: ‘private’ (bedrooms) and ‘public’ (living space). As always, we’ve attempted to produce a Tardis: small from the outside but feeling big on the inside.

In order to increase the feeling of space, the principal living area has a vaulted roof, ‘saddle’ roof light and one entire

wall of glass.
