DUA Architecture worked with a local authority in Lymington to deliver the renovation and extension of an existing social housing property, improving living standards and enhancing the building’s long-term sustainability.
As part of this local authority housing improvement project, our team assessed the structural soundness of the existing building before overseeing a sensitive yet comprehensive refurbishment. The outdated rear extension was demolished and replaced with a new communal kitchen and modern living areas, providing residents with brighter, more functional, and energy-efficient spaces.
We also reorganised the accommodation layout, creating better flow and comfort for residents while ensuring compliance with contemporary building standards.
