Moorlands College Community Hub

Sopley, Hampshire

This is a contemporary new cafeteria and social centre for Moorlands College in Sopley, Hampshire, designed by DUA Architecture. The project transforms student dining and social spaces while enhancing the campus experience with contemporary architecture and a strong connection to the surrounding parkland.

The new building features a café servery and social hub, separated from chapel and lecture areas for functional clarity. Vaulted roof forms and an angled glazed wall provide abundant daylight and expansive views over the campus creating a bright and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Designed to complement the existing campus, the building uses modern materials and clean lines while responding sensitively to its parkland setting. The architecture combines functionality with visual interest, creating a central hub for dining, social interaction, and community life.

The project achieves a flexible, social, and student-focused space that supports communal activities and enriches daily campus life.
