Moorlands College Auditorium

Moorlands College Auditorium in Sopley, Hampshire is a contemporary new auditorium and multi-functional building designed by DUA Architecture to serve as both a chapel and classroom space for the college campus. The project enhances student learning, worship, and community engagement through thoughtful architectural design.

The main hall accommodates up to 150 people, offering versatile use for lectures, chapel services, and events. The design prioritizes spatial quality, natural light, and internal volume, creating an inspiring environment that encourages collaboration and reflection.

The auditorium features a striking architectural form that complements the existing  campus buildings while introducing a modern design language. Its dynamic shape acts as a visual beacon on the campus, enhancing the identity of Moorlands College.

Completed under budget and ready for the academic year, the project demonstrates careful planning and execution. Feedback from the college has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the building’s efficiency, flexibility, and inspirational spaces.
