Over 25 years on, the refurbishment of the Milford Club in Milford-on-Sea remains a great example of how thoughtful architectural design can revitalise a local community venue. Originally a working men’s club, the building was transformed into a modern, welcoming social hub serving the wider Milford-on-Sea community.
Our design involved a complete interior refurbishment, with the ground floor entirely reconfigured to provide a large open-plan area featuring snooker tables, a darts area, bar, dining spaces, and a dance floor. The new layout improved flow, accessibility, and usability - making the space adaptable for both casual and event use.
A defining feature of the renovation was the creation of a wider, more inviting entrance, complete with a draft lobby and automatic door, ensuring easy access for all visitors. The project showcases our ability to breathe new life into local community buildings through functional and inclusive design.
