Following a successful project at Mary Mitchell Close for the Ringwood & District Old Peoples Housing Society, we were asked by the organisation to prepare initial feasibility designs for another site in Ringwood at Christy Close.

The design, for a small block of 6 flats to replace an existing detatched dwelling, was intended to offer continued independant living for elderly residents.

At the time, the proposal had to meet the standards of the now defunct Code for Sustainable Homes, and so included for a number of measures to

improve its energy

efficiency.
