Twillingate Farm

Tiptoe, New Forest

This studio conversion in Tiptoe, New Forest, demonstrates how even small-scale projects can achieve exceptional results through thoughtful architectural design. At DUA Architecture, we transformed an underused storage annexe into a bright, characterful multi-purpose studio space for art and crafts.

Rebuilt using high-quality facing brickwork, natural slate roofing, and new windows and doors, the converted studio blends seamlessly with the existing property while offering a refreshed, contemporary feel. Inside, vaulted ceilings and rooflights flood the room with natural light, creating an uplifting and inspiring workspace. The use of exposed brickwork internally adds warmth, texture, and a tactile connection to the building’s material character.

Designed for creativity and durability, this compact yet striking project showcases how imaginative architectural design can unlock the full potential of even the most modest spaces - proving that small can indeed be beautiful.
