In this project we were tasked to transform a tired bungalow in a highly prized location into a large house fit for family living.

The property had quite a deep plan, so by retaining the footprint but replacing the roof with one having a steeper pitch, it proved relatively easy to significantly increase the amount of habitable space.

At the same time, the opportunity was taken to give the property a fresh new look, both inside and out. The heart of the home: a kitchen / dining / living space opening onto

the south facing garden.
