This bungalow had two issues we were tasked to resolve: a cramped porch which appeared secondary to a large bay window and confused the entrance to the property; and a west facing rear elevation with a lounge and kitchen that over-heated due to large areas of glass.

To remedy these faults, open porches were added front and rear.  In addition to adding interest, they serve to signal entrances and provide protection from the elements.

To improve the building's quality and appearance,

all the pvc windows and doors were replaced with timber / aluminium composites.
