Barn House at Hinton

Hinton, Hampshire

Now more feasible due to expanded permitted development rights, this is one of our early barn conversion projects.

With barn conversions, the rationale is often to retain as much of the original character as possible. Internally, much of the fair faced brickwork has been retained and there is extensive use of timber.

Large original doors have been substantially glazed, throwing light deep within the plan. Diamond pattern ‘vents’ were also added to the external brickwork; a common

feature of barns in

this area.
