Haskell House
Barton on Sea, Hampshire
A proposed plot severance to a detached dwelling on the south coast, this contemporary dwelling was designed to be a generous but low impact addition into the local urban fabric of the town.
With a proposed undulating green roof, patterned timber cladding, covered verandah and generous garden, the dwelling would have been a strong and sustainable contribution to the architectural vernacular
of the area.
Designed with a singular rearward focus, so as to remain private from the host building and its neighbours, the linear plan has a stunning kitchen/dining/living space with
large format folding
sliding glazing.
