Our clients purchased this cottage as a speculative building venture. Various old additions meant that it had become an unsightly and uncomfortable ill-planned house with floors that didn’t quite align.
But many clouds have a silver linings - as the previous extensions had been constructed before 1982, a larger extension was permitted under local planning policy.
We therefore took the opportunity to make significant changes, with a complementary addition that has transformed the small cotttage into a beautiful home.
