Kimberley
Brockenhurst, New Forest
Located in the heart of Brockenhurst in the New Forest, Kimberley is a fine example of how a traditional house extension can completely transform a dated property into a warm, inviting family home. Originally built by developers and untouched for 25 years, the house had begun to show its age, with a small, outdated kitchen, a separate dining room, and a cramped staircase restricting the sense of space.
Our renovation and extension design focused on creating a large vaulted kitchen, dining, and living room, bringing natural light deep into the home and establishing a strong visual and physical connection with the rear garden. The addition of a new open staircase has transformed circulation through the house, enhancing both flow and character.
The result is a beautifully revitalized home that retains its traditional charm while embracing contemporary family living - a testament to DUA Architecture’s thoughtful approach to residential extensions in the New Forest.
