Strang and Partners

Highcliffe and Christchurch, Dorset

DUA Architecture delivered a major veterinary project for Strang & Partners / Priory Veterinary Group, designing and converting veterinary facilities in Highcliffe and Christchurch, Dorset. The commission included a full refurbishment of the Christchurch clinic and the conversion of a former garden centre into a new veterinary practice in Highcliffe - together creating welcoming, efficient, and highly functional veterinary spaces for staff and clients across the region.

Working on healthcare-led projects requires careful attention to circulation, hygiene, acoustics and customer experience. This design focused on clear patient flow and separate clinical / public zones for infection control; a bright, welcoming reception area to improve client experience; efficient back-of-house layouts to support clinical workflows;  and sensitive refurbishment and adaptive reuse.

The Christchurch refurbishment and Highcliffe conversion produced vet practices in Dorset that are both characterful and highly functional. The projects demonstrate DUA Architecture’s expertise in veterinary practice design, adaptive reuse, and healthcare-focused architecture - delivering improved patient care, better workflows for veterinary teams, and a positive experience for pet owners across Highcliffe and Christchurch.
