The Advertiser and Times has been a respected source of local news in Hampshire since 1928, serving a loyal readership of over 45,000. To modernise its operations and create a lasting base for local enterprise, the publication commissioned a new commercial office building in New Milton, delivered by DUA Architecture.

Following planning approval obtained by another designer, DUA Architecture were appointed to undertake the detailed construction design, secure Building Regulations approval, and oversee the full construction process. The project involved the demolition of an existing bungalow and the creation of a modern, efficient office building, thoughtfully designed to complement its urban setting.

Since completion, the building has become home to a range of local businesses and entrepreneurs, including use as a co-working space that supports innovation and collaboration in the New Milton community. This project showcases DUA Architecture’s expertise in commercial building design, delivering flexible, energy-efficient workplaces that adapt to changing business needs.
